Cosplay in Japan

Do you like watching Japanese cartoons? Have you ever thought to be the same as the cartoon character that you like? Are you interested in dressing up like them? If you are, maybe you can participate in a Cosplay society in your country.

According to the news, there was a World Cosplay Summit 2010 in Nagoya, Japan, and it has been arranged for a long time since 2003. In the World Cosplay Summit 2010, there were two activities that cosplayers did. First, walking in a Cosplay parade and acting same as cartoon character on the stage. When the festival began, people came to line up for watching a Cosplay parade and taking many pictures cartoon characters that they like while the parade was passing through. After finished walking a parade, cosplayers had a bit rest and waited for calling their name to show their performance. When an announcer announced whose name, he or she had to walk to the stage by walking down a stairs. They posted their acts while walking down, and many people again took pictures. Moreover, there was a girl from Thailand who participated in this festival too.

In my opinion, it was such an interesting idea that arranged a activity like this in the town. First, it can enable many people that like the same thing to be in the same place to have more unique. When they are together, they will have more conversations and become friends. As a result, they will have more understanding to each other. Next, it will be good for kids that to keep away from a kind of bad thing likes drugs. When they are interesting in comics or cosplays, their parents should support their though because what their children like is a right thing.
